Our Home

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kasih Insan Pulau Pinang was established in 2014 as a non-profit welfare centre providing long-term care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are unable to live independently.

Currently, the centre provides care for 18 individuals, ranging in age from 13 to 60 years old, with different types of conditions including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, muscular and mobility-related conditions, as well as other neurological and developmental challenges. Each individual has different needs, and the level of care required varies from daily supervision to full-time assistance.

The centre provides a safe, stable, and structured living environment, focusing on consistent daily care. This includes accommodation, meals, personal hygiene support, daily routines, basic medical follow-ups, and close supervision. Maintaining familiarity, routine, and emotional stability is an important part of the care we provide.

The centre does not operate under regular government funding. Our daily operations are sustained mainly through the support of the public, donors, and the wider community. This support enables us to continue providing uninterrupted care and to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals in our care.

We believe that care is not about short-term help, but about long-term responsibility. Our focus is on continuity, patience, and ensuring that every individual is cared for with dignity and respect.

Members of the public are welcome to learn more about our work, visit the centre, and understand the importance of long-term care for individuals who depend on it.
